Epic, Vaguely Medieval Showdown

When Winslow’s creates a golem to protect himself from the Moustache Wizard–who’s actually a pretty nice guy when you get to know him–things get a little carried away. The resulting battle, in which Winslow and his friends battle the Moustache Wizard and the Great Mustachioed Horde, was recreated with Hollywood movie magic.

Never approach or use ladder when motor is running, or at least wear a sturdier pair of shoes if you’re going to, because that thing absolutely mutilated your favorite pair of Tevas (the ones you so proudly remind us survived your trip to Peru and the whole goat incident, which is, frankly, pretty unbelievable in the first place) and your actual foot was at very real risk.

A Golem of Our Own

There are only three things that Winslow truly fears: crickets, the CIA, and the Moustache Wizard. It’s not that the Moustache Wizard is evil, exactly. Or at all. But there’s something about his mustachioed magic that dips deep down into Winslow’s psyche and stirs up unspeakable horrors. Luckily, this golem Winslow built between last week’s comic and this one will protect him from harm.

I’ve always had a very laissez-faire attitude about germs. I feel like it is better to leave them alone than to make enemies of them. Nowadays, it sure seems like most people in our increasingly germaphobic society do not share my tolerance. It looks like biological warfare has been declared, and we are the aggressors.
