Sometimes I feel like the world really is on fire. It’s hard to believe that at the beginning of the year, that was literally true in Australia, and 2020 has been relentless with the amount of upheaval, both good and bad, that has taken place–and the year isn’t even half over!



Space Food

My 7-year-old asked me what astronauts eat, and because I haven’t kept up with the culinary advances of space cuisine over the past 30 years, I decided to look it up. I remember food in tubes and freeze-dried bricks, but now astronauts eat irradiated meat and “shelf stable tortillas.” Sounds like a good time.



Pier Pressure

Last week I drew a comic about mermaids that didn’t actually have any mermaids in them. So this week I drew a comic with a mermaid that isn’t actually about mermaids. And thus, balance has been achieved.
