This year has been awful. We’ve lost a lot of really good people and had to deal with some pretty crappy global events, culminating in a disastrous U.S. election (and then followed by even more deaths). Lots of folks are looking forward to 2017. Count me in, man.

Personally, I’ve found 2016 to be a total wash. I haven’t had the time or the motivation to write anything or complete any of the many projects I started (or wanted to start) the year before. And yes, there have been bright spots–the birth of my son, first and foremost–but those seem to pale in comparison to the drudgery of the rest of the year.

This comic is my last for 2016. You won’t see Ben & Winslow again until 2017–my hiatus officially begins NOW!
