The “monster hands” curse didn’t seem to work on Kurt at all, but once Winslow touched an actual human person, things got bad. Really bad. Now poor Apsara has turned into the fire-breathing monster Apsauron! I smell a rampage coming on…

This extended story arc actually started with the idea of Apsara turning into a monster, but it took me months to figure out what her monster form would actually look like. Even when I decided to turn her into a female version of Bowser from the Super Mario Bros. games, it took several failed drafts to get her to look right. But I’m pretty happy with the end result. I even had enough room to add some paragoombas in the corner!
