My 7-year-old thinks this comic is hilarious. That’s the level of humor we’re dealing with today, folks!

This comic stemmed from my futile attempts at getting my daughter to eat her peas one night at dinner. I kept making various pea jokes–“I got a little pea on my tongue!”–but even though my kids thought it was hilarious and my wife kept rolling her eyes, my daughter still didn’t want to eat those damned peas. But it wasn’t all bad, because afterwards I got to draw this cute little pea pod man with his cute little crown. So… victory?
