I’m not going to lie: This comic is largely based on my life. I have three small children, which makes it difficult for me to do… anything. It’s hard to get out of the house to play games or to see movies, even with my wife, which means I sometimes miss out on fun, non-child activities. This isn’t so much a complaint as a wistful look back at the days before I was a parent and had lots of free time. :)

I like drawing Annie and Robot Ben because they’re the only real couple this comic strip has, and they can be totally crazy together. Annie’s past children included a baby sculpted out of butter and a watermelon in a diaper. She’s moved on to meat products now.

Andrew Kaye (known in some circles as AK) is the creator of Ben & Winslow and other questionable comics, many of which can be found in his deviantART gallery and his Tumblr. He’s also the editor-in-chief of this magazine. Duh?
