The first panel of this comic is based largely on the interactions of my two oldest children. My 5-year-old son is a perfectionist and a know-it-all, and my 4-year-old daughter loves to use that to her advantage. One of her favorite ways of irritating him is to mess up information on purpose. Take Star Wars, for example. My son loves Star Wars, and my daughter will talk to him about it–with incorrect information. She knows damn well who the characters are, but she’ll mix them up. My son still hasn’t caught on that she’s doing it on purpose, and it’s hilarious to watch him get pissed off about it.
This comic was also an excuse to draw Ben and Winslow with square heads.
