Ghostmakers and Gozerians

Kate has lived in her home for many, many years, but only after a recent homeowners association meeting did she discover that her house, and in fact much of her neighborhood, was designed by insane physician/architect/end-times enthusiast Ivo Shandor. The arcane street layout has been collecting negative magical energy for decades, and it has finally reached enough power to make eggs cook themselves on counter tops! AND ALSO ZUUUUUUUUL!

Ivo Shandor’s work on 550 Central Park West was much more successful, as seen in the 1984 documentary Ghostbusters.

Today’s strip is the start of a five-strip Halloween run. I’m going all out this year: one Halloween-themed strip a week, starting today. And what better way to begin than with a Ghostbusters-inspired strip?

Andrew Kaye (known in some circles as AK) is the creator of Ben & Winslow and other questionable comics, many of which can be found in his deviantART gallery. He’s also the editor-in-chief of this magazine. Duh?
