BEHOLD! The thrilling conclusion to Winslow’s adventure is upon us!

…And it turns out Winslow wasn’t really having an adventure anywhere but in his head. No talking mirrors, no threats of manticore attacks, no distant wizard castles or magical crowns. That must be some pretty powerful medicine. I think Dr. Spiderqueen will be a little more careful next time she prescribes Winslow with anything.

The knuckleduster Dr. Spiderqueen is carrying is a special medical knuckleduster. It’s sterile. However, when dealing with Winslow on the roof, she had to have it enchanted with seventeen spells to help counteract the power of Winslow’s axe, Salma. This isn’t really pertinent to the story at all, but I figure if you’re ever in a situation where you have to deal with Winslow while he’s hopped up on hallucinogens and swinging an axe around on your roof, you might need a few hints on how to deal with him. So the magic knuckleduster is hint number one.

Hint number two? Spinnerets.

Andrew Kaye (known in some circles as AK) is the creator of Ben & Winslow and other questionable comics, many of which can be found in his deviantART gallery. He’s also the editor-in-chief of this magazine. Duh?
