Defenestration: July 2009

Jul 20th, 2009 | By | Category: Editorials

Damnations and felicitations, folks! Another month has passed us by, and therefore the inevitable has happened: the July 2009 issue of Defenestration is here, and it’s all up in your face. See?

Are you excited yet?

Are you excited now?

Good. This month almost didn’t happen. Not the magazine. The magazine always happens (unless it doesn’t). I’m talking about July. I’d go into a complete rundown of the crazy events of late June, but I’m sure you read about it in the papers, and the media didn’t shut-up about it for days. Luckily July is here, and has been for the last twenty days. We can only hope its good fortune will continue for the rest of its existence.

This month features poetry by Paul Hellweg, Lauren Becker, and Mr. Smith; prose by Thomas Sullivan, Chris Ridenour, Rod Parker, and Rachel Levy; and some artwork by Trebor Nehoc. Enjoy!
