He took the train in.

on his own very often.

He arrived just fine at grand central station.

Then he got off
and began to walk
around.

He ran into the mentally challenged man while looking for his way out.

The man was obviously handicapped
so my brother just smiled and said thank you
when the man said, “I like you.”

It was really a sort of heart-warming experience

Until the man
leaned in and whispered
in my brothers ear.

“I’d like you better with your clothes off.”

What a perfect taste
of that big
bittersweet apple.
