This edition of Scenes from a Sequel is brought to us by our fine friends at Defenestration Studios. Inspired by Eileen's treatise on Tanith Lee, intrepid director Lauren Glamour set out to create a stirring tale of love between woman and machine!

Our tale of love begins with Branwyn, a girl in a forbidden future. Introspective, shy, she lives in a vortex of her own emotion, longing for nothing more than an all-consuming love. She despairs! "Never will I find love!" she sighs.
Little does she know, she is already loved...and he's taking pictures.

One day, despondent Branwyn runs away from her loveless home and plunges herself into despair. Silver tears rain down her cheeks; her heart constricts; this is the end!
But then, a miracle.

Eagerly, lovingly, she presses him for answers and a balance statement!
"Can it be?" she asks, but Livers professes true love. He has watched her, loved her; now she is his every joy!
Branwyn and her lover, Livers, live in bliss unending, every moment together. That any girl should be so lucky - it's unimaginable!

She tells him of other lands, other lovers from times long past. Eagerly he listens to her every word.
Truly, two souls have become one!

But oh! Betrayal! Tragedy!
"Livers, that woman - what did she want?!"
"Fastcash," he cries, "and nothing more, Branwyn, I swear to you!"
"I've heard that before," says Branwyn, pale eyes flashing.
Oh, that such a love should end so bitterly! Branwyn leaves Livers with nothing but his pictures to remind him of the love - too strong to last, too passionate to survive!
