I’ve been playing a lot of Animal Crossing: New Leaf recently. Correction: I’ve been playing a lot of Animal Crossing: New Leaf lately. And I don’t think I’m the only one, either. Part of me was worried that not enough people would understand today’s comic, but then I realized Animal Crossing is what all the cool kids are playing. I tried to imitate the game’s style as best I could in this format, which isn’t as easy as it might sound.

I’ve been playing the Animal Crossing games since the beginning of forever, because that’s how old I am. They are easily the most addicting things on the planet. Who would have thought that a game about nothing could be so much fun?

Part of me has always wondered what it would be like if I played Animal Crossing as a total asshole. Like, your villager moves in, teaches all the neighbors curse words, steals all the items they want you to deliver, and so on. Would everyone move away?
